Ahmad defends his actions, leaves his fate to Barisan

PUTRAJAYA: Bukit Bendera Umno chief Datuk Ahmad Ismail has defended his actions. He is leaving it up to Barisan Nasional to decide his fate.

Ahmad met with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi on Tuesday. At the meeting, he defended his actions, saying he would leave it to Barisan to decide on the action to be taken against him.

Ahmad arrived at 12.50pm at the Prime Minister’s office here. He left at 2.40pm.

Ahmad has been at the centre of controversy after he called the Chinese "squatters" while campaigning for the Permatang Pauh by-election recently.
